Simulation

We start with a detailed simulation that uses actual PLC code to demonstrate how real-world operation will work. This allows operating parameters to be custom-tuned and tested in a virtual environment, to optimize their performance in the real world. This method also allows our clients to see what peak operation and capacity look like, what happens when faults occur, and provides them an overall view of the relationship between infeed and outfeed.

Custom Electrical Design

Before actual physical implementation begins, our engineers use detailed design drawings to determine the optimal components to use when constructing the system. These drawings map location of every field device, and include electrical schematics on how the devices will be wired. This customized process provides better system design while eliminating wasted material and effort.

Upper & Lower Level Software & Control System

Our Upper and Lower Level Software and Controls Systems minimize down time, allow easy operation of your systems, provide fast response capabilities if issues arise, and provide constant awareness of system operation. The all-encompassing Upper Level Software and Control System includes the Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Maintenance Diagnostic Systems (MDS) that work together to translate system operation into a graphic display. Users can easily monitor performance criteria, faults and system operating modes. The Lower Level Software and Control System uses custom written logic for the PLCs to maintain complete control of the machine.

Sorter Control

Sorting is nothing if products cannot be routed quickly and accurately as needed. Our sorter control systems preserve sortation speed and accuracy for a wide variety of sort automation including slat/shoe, tilt tray, cross-belt, and pop-up wheel sorters. Fault control and monitoring make sure downtime is kept to an absolute minimum to preserve profitability and efficiency.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags in product labels allow immediate tracking, location, and cataloging of the movement of every product and piece of material. This method is faster and more accurate than bar code reading, and is not dependent on product orientation or speed on the conveyor. In fact, RFID systems can provide read accuracy rates of greater than 99%, as opposed to the 92-98% accuracy of bar coding.

Reporting Package

Our reporting packages use an intuitive web interface to provide operators, managers, and maintenance personnel with a constant stream of data that keeps them informed about system status in real time, from anywhere. Each reporting package is customized for every implementation, allowing greater efficiency and optimization at every level for every client.
